How to create a successful Thanksgiving Instagram giveaway

Add a nice background or some text related to the theme of your giveaway. A quick and easy way to grab a high-quality background can be found by searching for free stock images on google. Complicated and busy backgrounds can easily distract your main product, so make sure its simple. Avoid adding too much text because nobody wants to read a paragraph on your picture. Make things interesting and play around with your design! People like looking at fun and creative artworks. 

Once you have your image ready, it is time to move on to writing the post. Its good to keep it simple and to give out clear instructions. Some common contest rules include like to win, tag a friend, and repost with a hashtag. Make sure you include a specific date to when the winner will be announced and to include related hashtags at the end of your post.   

When preparing your gift, you want to make sure everything is wrapped up nicely and presentable. It should look exactly like the picture you posted. If your product contains fragile items, add extra wrapping paper to prevent it from breaking.
Randomly pick one contestant that participated in the event and announce the winner in your post. Notify them on Instagram through a comment or private message and thank everybody for participating in the event. Ask for their shipping details and send the present off right away.

 

What is Thanksgiving?

Canadian Thanksgiving is the day of giving thanks that occurs on the second Monday in October. Although it is observed on Monday, friends and families get together for a large feast on any three days of the holiday weekend.
