This comprehensive Gift Baskets Delivery Guide includes all the information you need to know about delivery and shipping information when ordering your gift baskets for this upcoming holiday season. All delivery and courier services continue to be affected by the ongoing situation brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, impacting delivery timelines for Christmas and holiday orders. Major courier services including UPS and Purolator have suspended guaranteed delivery dates, currently experiencing delays of up to 1-3 business days. The anticipated delay for deliveries during Christmas is 7-10 business days. Because of this information, MyBaskets has the following delivery timelines:
For corporate business orders which include bulk holiday gift baskets and employee appreciation gifts, the deadline to submit your corporate order is November 25th. This year has presented many challenges, and we expect these challenges only to grow as we enter the holiday season. Because of the anticipated shipping delays, we cannot deliver corporate baskets after December 18th. Major courier services have warned us of the anticipated delivery delays, and even though they are preparing themselves as best they can by hiring 1000+ employees for the holiday season, the volume of orders that are already pouring in prove the expected delays will be unlike those of any holidays prior. Courier services are expecting delays of up to 5+ business days additional to their normal delivery timelines.
For residential orders, MyBaskets will only be delivering baskets up to December 21st. Again, with the sheer volume of orders already coming in for this holiday season in which so many people are anticipating not being able to be face to face with their dearest family members and friends like past years, many people are sending Christmas and holiday gift baskets instead. In order to get your holiday baskets delivered in a timely manner to your dearest family and friends, we will not be doing deliveries after December 21st.
We have personally received official letters from all courier services including UPS, Purolator, Fedex, Canpar, etc. notifying us that distribution centres are extremely behind due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They have declared no guarantee delivery dates moving forward. This means that even though MyBaskets covers shipping fees on the majority of baskets as these couriers have always had reliable next business day delivery times, these same deliveries can now take 2-4 business days depending on the delivery address.
This is a reality all delivery services are experiencing and have no control over and are all trying our very best to ensure timely and safe delivery of your parcels. This is all the reasoning behind why we are asking for everyone to please order as far in advance as possible, to ensure we can get your delivery out early with the knowledge of these delays, and the order will hopefully arrive on your preferred delivery date if you have one set. This is also the reason we have set these strict order and delivery deadlines in place.
We truly ask for everyone's patience and understanding this holiday season with the ongoing situation. MyBaskets is doing our best to prepare for what is most likely to be the busiest and craziest holiday season yet. I don't have feedback from the recipient yet, but the process to order the basket was simple and it arrived on time, as advertised. Communication from the company was terrific! When I didn't receive a delivery confirmation, I emailed to ask. I received same day communication (10pm on a Saturday) to let me know my basket was delivered. And then I received another email on Monday morning. Great service!

A couple of weeks ago I had cause to complain to Mybaskets about items substituted in a gift package. Initially too it seemed my complaint had been ignored as I heard nothing back.

Hello unfortunately the recipient has not received the gift. I had to file a claim with UPS as they stated it was delivered but again the basket did not arrive at his home, I was so excited for him to receive it as it had great reviews.
